I keep getting kicked from "punkbuster games" Different errors every time and I always getting kicked. I'm am not using any mods/hacks. Punkbuster is the newest version.
Update PunkBuster. Make sure PunkBuster is updated to the latest version. Install Call of Duty 4 patches. Install all patches up to at least v1.5. (Currently, the latest available patch is v1.7.) If that doesnât solve the issue, try the next suggestion. Reinstall sound card drivers
Extract the pb folder from the cod4pbfix.zip file and place the pb folder inside your Call of Duty 4 folder. Click yes to overwrite any existing files. Open the pb folder inside your cod4 folder and run the file pbsvc_GamesForGamers.exe install it and that will setup the punkbuster services. Lastly, download the COD4X 1.8 update: Download.
Keeps kicking me from servers for some stupid reason. Anyone know what could be causing this? I've tried reinstalling the service and that doesn't work. I can't update it to the latest version due to it not fricking being able to do so, due to CoD WaW being unsupported now. EDIT: Going to bump this once every 3 days until the problem is either resolved and I post the fix or someone posts

Bon les mecs, aprĂšs quelques heures Ă se prendre la tĂȘte avec un pote, on a trouvĂ© comment rĂšgler le problĂšme. Etape 1 : DĂ©barrassez vous de cette saloperie de punkbuster, supprimez le dossier, brĂ»lez le cadavre et videz la corbeille. Etape 2 : Vous tĂ©lĂ©chargez la derniĂšre version, vous lancez et vous installez le merdier. Etape 3 : Call of Duty 4 n'est pas dans la liste, hein ? Remarquez le fichier au doux nom de c'est le responsable. Etape 4 : Ouvrez le salaupiaud avec notepad++, le bloc-note ou un vaisseau spatial extra-terrestre, dĂ©merdez vous. Ajoutez ces deux lignes : Et enfin celle-ci : Etape 5 : Relancez et... miracle ! Etape 6 : Le plus dur est Ă venir.. Vous cliquez sur 'Call of Duty 4' et 'Add a game'. Et si vous avez tout bien fait, avec un peu de bol, ça fonctionnera. HĂ©sitez pas Ă lancer les applications en administrateur, ça change que dalle mais ça fait tout marcher.
